Christian Beliefs

SALVATION: Romans 10:9 says, "if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe that God raised Him from the dead, you shall be saved." We believe that salvation is available to every person - regardless of who you are or the sins you may have committed before receiving salvation. We do NOT subscribe to the "once saved, always saved" doctrine. Matthew 24:13 states, "the one who endures until the end shall be saved." It's crucial to continue cultivating our relationship with Jesus to maintain our salvation. 

INTIMACY WITH JESUS: Jeremiah 29:13 assures us, "you will seek Me and find Me when you seek Me with all of your heart." We advocate for a radical, hold-nothing-back relationship with Jesus Christ. This closeness, referred to in the bridal paradigm found in Hosea 2 and Song of Songs, emphasizes that intimacy with Jesus transcends physical relationships; it's about a heart-to-heart connection. Our spiritual marriage to Him signifies knowing Him deeply, as a Best Friend and a Husband in a spiritual context. 

TRIUNE GOD: Genesis 1:26 tells us, "let Us make man in Our Image, after Our Likeness." We believe in the Triune God—One-in-Three, Three-in-One. Though there is only One God, He exists in three Persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. John 10:30 proclaims, "I and the Father are One." 

HEAVEN AND HELL: Matthew 13:49-50 describes a time when angels will separate the wicked from the righteous, casting them into a blazing inferno, where there will be gnashing of teeth. We maintain that there is a literal heaven and hell. Revelation 22:3-4 assures us, "The Throne of God and the Lamb of God shall be in this city and His servants will see Him. They will see His Face and His Name will be on their foreheads." For those who invite Jesus as their Savior and nurture their relationship with Him, eternity in heaven awaits; those without this connection face eternal separation. 

WORD OF GOD: According to 2 Timothy 3:16-17, "all scripture is God-breathed and useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting, and training in righteousness." The Bible is the infallible Word of God, with each word divinely inspired. John 1:1 illustrates, "in the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God." The scriptures instruct us to study diligently (2 Timothy 2:15) to truly understand the depths of God's Word. 

GIFTS OF THE SPIRIT: 1 Corinthians 12:8-10 speaks of the various gifts given by the Spirit: wisdom, knowledge, miracles, prophecy, discerning of spirits, tongues, and their interpretations. We not only believe in the gifts of the Spirit but actively operate in them. These gifts are vital to the body of Christ today; they did not cease to exist, for Jesus is the same yesterday, today, and forever (Hebrews 13:8). 

MANIFESTATIONS OF HOLY SPIRIT: Acts 2:15 says, "these people are not drunk as you suppose," referring to being "drunk" in the Spirit. It’s an experience we've had many times and desire for others to encounter—feeling overwhelmed by the Lord's Presence, akin to intoxication. Ephesians 5:18 teaches us not to be drunk with wine but to be filled with the Holy Spirit. Other manifestations include being slain in the Spirit (2 Chronicles 5:14), shaking under God's power (Habakkuk 3:16), joyful laughing (Genesis 17:17), and experiencing the joy of the Lord (Luke 10:21). 

DELIVERANCE: Luke 4:18 reveals, "the Spirit of the Lord is upon me and He has anointed me to preach the Gospel to the poor; He has sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to deliver the captives, recover sight to the blind, and heal the brokenhearted." We recognize that Christians can and do struggle with demonic influences. We’ve helped numerous Christians find deliverance, fulfilling Jesus’s mission to set the captives free. 

RESURRECTIONS: John 11:39-44 recounts Jesus commanding Lazarus to come out of the tomb, showcasing His power over death. We have witnessed several resurrections and experienced them ourselves. The reality of resurrection is powerful and transformative. 

WOMEN IN MINISTRY: Joel 2:29 reminds us, "even on the male and female servants, in those days, I will pour out My Spirit." Every individual, regardless of age, gender, or race, can be anointed for the Lord's work. Women held pivotal roles in the five-fold ministry throughout the Bible, including Junia (Romans 16:7), Deborah (Judges 4:4), Lydia (Acts 16), and Mary Magdalene (Matthew 27:55-56). Junia served as an apostle, Deborah as a prophetess, Lydia as a pastor/teacher, and Mary Magdalene as an evangelist. Women are equally empowered to preach the Gospel alongside men, as emphasized in Galatians 3:28. 

FIVE-FOLD MINISTRY: Ephesians 4:11 states, "so Christ Himself gave the apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors, and teachers." Just as we acknowledge the gifts of the Spirit, we recognize the various offices within the ministry. Each of us possesses unique gifts and callings, all of which are essential to the body of Christ. 

SIGNS AND WONDERS: 1 Kings 8:10-11 narrates how the priests could not stand to minister because the cloud filled the House of the Lord. We believe in signs and wonders, including remarkable and unusual manifestations. The Bible notes that if all the things God did were recorded, they could not fit into every book in the world (John 21:25). This underscores that the Lord performs extraordinary deeds, often in surprising ways.
